Eleven Years
April 28th, 2010 | 04:28

Time flies fast. Sometime in the way I hardly believe.
As of today, I've been to Canada for exact eleven years.

Late in the afternoon, I asked Andrea to photography me in front of a motel on Kingsway.
This is the place where I stayed 11 years ago right after the landing.
At that time, I was 20 years old.
Woow, I am, indeed, 31 now. Lucky to have Andrea, lucky to have friends around, lucky that parents are still healthy.
looking at the almost torn-down motel. memroies flash back, good or bad.

I love Vancouver. I love my family! And I love you all.
Happy Birthday Max!

Joannes

I had a photo shot of Joannes' family at Sugar Studio.
We booked a full day event and end up only using 3 hours.
The shoot went on well and I was touched to see Joannes with his daughter Michelle.
We all grow up and getting old and along the path, there comes new life.
How nice to have friends beside.

Vancouver

3 days after landing, I gradually find the Vancouver way. I miss this feeling!
You have no idea how beautiful the city is and how meaningful the life could be when you are in Van.
Andrea and I baked blue berry muffin this afternoon. It was so fun.
We also watched the DisneyNature film "Ocean". I was deeply touched.

I need to make special thank to mr.Liu Wei, my stylist, for always helping me out!
Lot of photo shoots going on these days. I am so exciting!
Andrea and I will go back Vancouver on 18th this weekend. Finally, I could go home with my family.
NOT ALONE! I heart portraiture!

Looking Through The Eye
April 15th, 2010 | 20:35

It's hard to believe how fast the time past. When I made my eye focuse on Zhang Yiyan's face last night in my studio,
I realized how much we grew up. To see a childhood friend turning out to be a mother now was emotional.
Not untill now, I found my passion and area in photography. Yup, portraiture!!!!
I love the image and I love the feeling when clicking the shutter.
Profoto did a excellent job, so did the Hasselbald.

Every three months, I need go outside China to renew my Chinese visiting visa. And this time,
I went to HongKong again. Insteading of fooling around in the city, I stayed at the airport for the whole day.
There are a lot of shops in Terminal 1 and 2 and I found myself reading books, magazines and photography prints at
Page One for hours. What's more exciting? HK airport provides free wirless internet connection. I end up surfing website
at terminal's food court with tears when I got access to facebook, vimeo and youtube.

Although it's only a day in HK airport. I feel myself once again, refreshed! Thank GOD!
