New York City
September 22nd, 2010 | 21:51
woow, it is a long day. Got up at 4am sharp. Andrea called me up. Taxi at 5.
I took my first depature on 7am. Fly 8 hours from Vancouver to New York City.
Finally, after 9 years, I am here in the center of the world.
There will be few photo shoots for my photo project and I also want to check out some photography schools.
Gotta spend 4 days here. Gotta see and experience as much as possible.
I miss home ......
Skytrain and Chinese
September 18th, 2010 | 22:32
How many Chinese people are in Vancouver now?
I remember the year I came here, not too many, there were HKness, Taiwaness but few Chinese.
Yet up to today, I could see nearly 50% of people walking on the street are asian.
Good or bad? I don't know. The only thing I know is, first time in 10 years,
I saw a fight in the skytrain. An asian kid actually fight with the train patrol.
There are lots of highschool kids or college students from china.
There are rich, without parent's supervise and they don't study.
Basically, they are fucked......
F.R.I.D.A.Y

After a busy morning, I had a nice walk in downtown.
It was sunny and chill. I breath the fresh air and was refreshed.
I love Vancouver.
When I walk on the street, I found 45% of people using iPhone, another 45% of people using Blackberry.
For the rest of 10%, there are Google Phone, Sony, Samsung and Nokia.
From the past few days of using the bold 9700, I fell in love with Blackberry.
It not only meets my expectation, but also put a new standard for my future cell phone.
YES......
Van-Cou-Ver DAY
September 16th, 2010 | 23:28
photo in leos camera by M9 + 50mm Summicron
It was a long day. Somehow I managed to finish the follow:
Make bank deposit
Open business account
Call lawyer Mao
Call TD bank
Call Terry Dong for dropping off her stuff
Call lawyer lowe
Email BPHL for bank transfer information
Buy shoes
Apply car insurance
Check out Leica for Mr.Piao
Lunch with Carolyn at downtown.
Buy cell phone protector for blackberry
Coffee with Joannes
I did some test shots from the new M9. I just love the feeling of shooting leica.
For the image result, leica, canon and nikon, they are not too far away.
But for the way rangfinder works, the sound of shutter and the size of body, lens,
Leica won every single point.
I seriously think if I want to travel light, leica is the one.
A long journey back home

Someone said that "two is always better than one". It's absolutely true.
I photographied this image in Hong Kong airport while waiting for the transfer flight.
Two things that I always want to do for travel:
1. travel light.
2. travel with someone you love.
Depature night
September 14th, 2010 | 18:51
One night before the depature, I've been busy for whole day.
Now, sitting in my office, waiting for certain file transfer between laptop and desktop, I try make memo for tomorrow's trip.
Trip back to Vancouver ......
Black berry 9700
September 11th, 2010 | 17:29
Two things that I always want to get but it's just hard to pick up in the reality.
One is a blackberry cell phone. Another is a turbo charged Subaru.
Well, not untill today, I fulfill the 1st wish. Finally a blackberry bold 9700 is on my hand.
It's so far the most interesting and sexy cell phone that I've ever used.
So, now, it's the question of when should I get the Subaru......
One Afternoon
September 10th, 2010 | 13:36
This is one afternoon when you feel bored and un-confident about what you are doing.
This is one afternoon when the sun is shining but your heart is raining.
This is one damn afternoon when I am totally lost.
What am I doing here?
Silver Efex Pro
September 8th, 2010 | 14:42
I spent hours reading Leica M9's review. Woow, it seems the camera that I gotta get next.
Just tried the Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro photoshop plug in. The black & white conversion result is superb.
It provides different film preset, Tri-x 400, or T-Max, even HP5.
Well, compare this with previous entry, one can easily point out the differences.
Anyway, I think the technology is all out there. It just turns to the point where and how much you want to adopt it.
Town of XiDi
September 4th, 2010 | 12:46
I was in the ancient town of Xidi, AnHui province. Longing for being there for ages and I finally fulfilled the wish.
I did enjoy the sightseeing but to be frank, town of WuZhen is still my most favourite town in China.
Few photos were selected and present in the following link. Please check it out.
