2 years ago, I took the Canadian Geographic course in the university. Since then, I got farmiliar with the Canada's provinces, knowing what is Acadia, and what are the Maritimes provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island). From the course,
I knew that those provinces were settled from the sea, and the most of their two million or so inhabitants live in the coastal settlements of one kind or another. Today, I finally have chance going there to see the mosaic of diverse landscapes, to see the fantastic view of Atlantic ocean with long beaches in red or white.
Two people were in this trip: Trista and I.
The camera gears that we will bring are as following:
* Canon EOS 10D
* Nikon D70
* Sony P7
* Canon 28 - 135mm IS USM Lense
* Canon 50mm F1.8
* Sigma 70 - 300mm Marco
* Nikon 24 - 120mm
* Variety of filters.
* Tripod
We took the flight from Toronto on 22nd July to Halifax, Nova Scotia in the morning and return Toronto from Halifax on 27th July 2004. The vehicle was Ford Escape XLT, a stander SUV rented from Budget with unlimited millage. I booked all the hotels from Holiday Inn for 5 nights. (Since I joined the priority club, I could get one free night from Holiday Inn on every 16th night.)
I hightlight the driving route in the following map:
