18th July 2004 Trista, Michelle, Steven and I went out for a day trip to Niagara Falls from Waterloo. The weather was not decent but at least, it wasn't too hot in this kind of summer time. We left Waterloo around 10am. After taking off, we decided go to a cherry farm land first to have some fun. The farm land, founded in 1799, is close to Hamilton. When we arrived, there were already plenty of people waiting for the train. ( like a shuttle running between the parking and the farm land)     click here to see the pictures in the farm land. leaving the farm land, it took us around 1 hr to go to Niagara Falls. The town in Niagara falls is different with what I thought before, more people then I expected and fancier than I could imagine. We took our lunch in the Rain Forest Coffee. Frankly, i didn't go to this rastaurant before when it has a branch in Metrotown, Vancouver. The food there is not bad, but the price is higher than i could appreciate.     click here to see the pictures in the town of Niagara. After lunch, we took a walk in the town and then took the ferry going close to the falls. If you didn't go to Niagara before, let me explain to you. there are actually two falls here. One is American fall, the small one. if you look at the title picture on top of the page, it's the American fall. Another one is the Canadian fall, the big one, way bigger than the American one. (YEAH, Canada wins!) Anyway, the ferry was really interesting. you spend like 13 dollars and could go really close to both falls.     click here to see the pictures on the ferry. Around sun set, Trista took us to a small town called "Niagara On the Lake". It's a really a peacful town, clean, pretty and tasteful. There are lot of flowers along the street. People are nice too. Go to this town if you have chance traveling to the falls.     click here to see the pictures in the town of Niagara. Dinner at Sheraton hotel, PH level, nice buffet. It's a really nice place to have dinner. you can sit by the window, watching two falls at your foot. The price for the buffet is 32 dollars per person. It's really worth the money. Specially, you could go outside, watch the falls. oh, there was a firework around 10:00pm. We went out the restaurant, and watched the firework. It's so pretty.
