27th Dec 2004 Since David came here to visit his girlfriend from Toronto. Trista and I had this chance, going to Victoria for a short trip with them. To have more new year spirit, we invited Eric come with us. So, 27th Dec 2004, Trista , Eric, David, Shelly and I were stack into my 3.2TL, leaving burnaby, heading toward Victoria. What's more was the wonderful wonderful sunny day which stayed with us for the next two days. Although the 12 oclock ferry was delayed for a while, we were still in the good mood, since the weather was just wonderful. And the view on the ferry was always good. The sky, the mountain and the lighthouse.............. We were driving alone the seashore. Stop wherever we want. Around 3pm, I took them to a nice Taiwaness family restaurant. We ate to full. Eric was amazed by its "pork-feet". It's really delicious!!! After lunch, we kept driving down the seashore toward downtown Victoria. It's around 4:30pm, the sun was getting lower and lower. The sunset in a clear day was better than ever. We stoped, taking pictures for the sunset and for all of us as well. ^__^ We lived at Hotel Mariot in downtown Victoria. To our surprise, the price there was so reasonable. And the service was really good. I will live there again if I would go to Victoria by any chance in the future. Dinner time, we tried "the fifth street grill". A nice little western restaurant. The food was good. We also had beer. We took pictures for each other for fun. The funny thing was that we found out the picture looked good if people didn't look at the camera. Shelly and Trista Eria, Me and David On the way back hotel, we bought drinks again. So, after going back hotel, we were playing card and drinking. What a fun night! 28th Dec 2004 What could be more comfortable when you wake up in a big sunny day and you are just finished your final exams. So, all you need to do is relax and enjoy the day. After a good sleep, Eric, Trista and I were walking on the streed in downtown Victoria. We walked into the gife shop and stop by the lovely coffee shop. We were holding our coffee, walking on the street. We book the 5pm ferry back to Vancouver. I have to admit that the trip was wonderful. Wonderful friends with this wonderful weather! end of the trip
