| In the past three days, I worked from 9:30 till 6pm in the camera store followed by 2 hours basketball shooting from 7pm to 9pm at War Memorial Gym in UBC.
Three games in a row were intense. My goal was to get more practice on the field and to develop some new skills. Gladly, after 3 nights, I could handle my 70-200mm
way better than before and my images were finally different from the past. 28th Dec. UBC vs. Laurentian. 92 - 61
29th Dec. UBC vs. York. 85 - 62
30th Dec. UBC vs. Ottawa. 77 - 79
After 18 straight wins, UBC men's basketball team lost the first home court game tonight. Although #20 Pasha Bains scored 30 points with 10 points in the last 50 seconds, UBC was still down by 2 at the final whistle. What a game! |

I will work on the photo and update it later.
Found this on the internet. It's funny.
By the way, the movie "King Kong" rocks. I didn't enjoy a movie like this for really long time. |

Merry Christmas, especially to those friends who live along in a foreign city or country. It's hard to spend holiday
without family at this time of year. Lucky me that Trista and Muffin are here.
Christmas eve, we cooked clam, crab and vegetable with wine and beer.
Fat fat Muffin brought us the extra Christmas atmosphere.
Merry Christmas! |

| New year resolution: Spend less time on MSN. Thinking about this: Spending 2 hours (total) per day talking on MSN. It's 60 hours per month. 720 hours per year. Divide by 24, it's 30 days per year that I do nothing but chat on the computer. That is 24 hours a day for 30 days, nonstop chatting!!!! It's like I get a full time job to talk in MSN, 8 hours per day for 3 months!!!!! What's worse, for every 4 years, I will lose one year on MSN. It's not right!!!! CUT IT OFF!!!! I was looking at some old photos that I kept in my computer. Most of them were taken 20 years ago. When Trista saw this photo, she asked me "Do you dare to put it on your website?". OH yeah baby, it's Christmas. We need some excitements!!!
At least, when I am 80 years old, I could tell my grandchild that "Hey grandpa used to be a good nude model!!" ^.^!!! |

Before the show, Eric, Claudia, Trista and I had dinner together in Kintaro on Denman st. The noodle there was really tasty!
Trista and Collen were checking out the art works.
The singer of Dandi wind.

| I had a good time with Philippe and his wife Katrina. Trista and I met them up in the morning and we went out
to have Chinese morning tea. In the afternoon, four of us drove down to White Rock catching the last sun shine along the sea shore. Katrina & Philippe

Trevor sent me a link of photos that he took with his Canon 10D ( the one I sold to him ). I like his photos. Actually I like those people who could actually spend time to take photo and improve their skills. After all, photo is the only thing that matters. I know whole bench of people who only care about the camera and lens. They spend tones of money to buy the top level gear but once you look at their photos. It sucks! Anyway, like what I always believe, the future belongs to those who have a beauty in their dreams and vision! I put a link to his website under "Friends" in the front page. It's a nice website. Tomorrow at 10am, I will go pick up 4000 copies of my postcard. I am nervous. What if the color turned out really bad? What if no one is interested at them? What should I do then? |

Evening time, Philippe and his wife came visiting Trista and I. We played Ma-Jiang together.
It took me forever to update the blog. ^.^!! |

| I got an U-Pass this morning. The UBC AMS sent me an U-PASS without asking me!! Is it a free one? What the hell!!!
I am confussed!!!!
Took this photo with the Canon 20D and 17-85mm IS lens (store demo) this afternoon. I didn't see such pretty sunset for a while.
The car is totally underexposed but this is the only way to keep the afterglow in the correct exposure. Anyway, I like this photo. |

| I didn't have 3 continue day off since this summer and finally I could sit back and
relax. What's more, I could fully control my time, yes, 24 hours a day!!!!!!!! Amazingly, I've done a lot of stuff these
two days, banking, photo editing, watching Harry Potter, having my postcard and business card printed, cleaning my
apartment, fixing dad's conversion van in the parking lot...... TIME I NEED MORE TIME!!!!
I went to watch the screening of George Clooney and Matt Damon's new movie "Syriana". It's a complicated movie, dark and intense. Anyway, I like it.
Definitely buy the DVD later on with "Traffic". I found out some interesting photos that Michelle took few days ago when we were having Korean HOTPOT in downtown. Bryan looks insane!!!!!!!! He must be hungry at that time!
Some photos that have me inside!!!!!!
" Hello all, While browsing the wonderful world of livejournal, i found this on the LJ UBC community: http://www.livejournal.com/community/ubc/529792.html yay compliments! Claudia" What did I tell you????? UBYSSEY ROCKS!!!!! |

Champagne, Colleen, Mr. "I don't know the name" and Claudia were dancing.
Megan was having fun by herself.
Bryan pretending to play guitar.
After the party, Jesse, Bryan, Michelle and I went to downtown, eating Korean HOTPOT. So delicious! Peanut Maybe took a lot of photos during the meal.
2:30AM, we showed up in North Van, watching downtown's night view. And Michelle just couldn't live without her camera!
I went back home around 3:30 in the morning. It's a long day but I had so much fun!!!!! By the way, the Satire issue is awesome. |
