Last year, 29th Nov, Vancouver was snowing as well. I remembered it was the paper production night. I drove Eric, Basil and B.Z home nearly at 3am.
We tried e-break and I took photo with B.Z on the way home. I talked with him alot about anything, life, love, friendship and career. Fond memory!

Coincidentally, Champagne contacted me today on msn and gave me a web link for Michelle and Simon's photo project. They are so talented! I so wanna join them.
Watching these familiar faces on Spotted Cock and thinking about the snow in Vancouver made me miss my friends there deeply.
Am I too greedy? Or I am really lonely here. Do they miss me? I wonder......

I shoot with my digital Rebel (300D) and the transmitter. The rehearsal meeting was like 3+ hours long and I took over 5G Raw images.
Few concerns left me to solve:
1. I need a new tripod head. The gear head I am using is good for landscaping but it's kind of inconvinient during a meeting or a sports event.
2. Unless I am walking on the street, even when I am walking on the street, a 2nd camera could always make things easier. 300D is not a good choice.
3. If I need a 2nd camera, will it be a 8mp 1D MarkIIn? Or should I sell my 1d-MIIn and get a pair of 17mp 1ds MII?
4. A 400mm F2.8 IS lens.

Well, there are some feelings I don't know how to express. They stuck in my mind. Although I came back 4 months already, China is still a strange zone to me. People here are different, not in the bad way but just different. Although I was born here and stayed for almost 20 years but during the past 7 years which could define my value of living, I was out. When people are in an unfamiliar zone, they behave strangely. So do I......
Lately I've been self-learning some nonlinear movie editing tools like Final Cut Pro etc. I also get my hands on creating Flash movies. Learning is always a good process to be more self-knowledged.
Inspiration was all I could say.

Later in the afternoon, I attended an important meeting. It was 3 hours long plus a 2 hours dinner. I am still thrilled by the result but well, let's wait and see.

From this week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I will go swim at noon for an hour at the aquatic center in Renmin University of China.

I am staying at room619 watching "Friends" season one with a finger of Scotch Whisky and some cheap chocolates. I realize how much I miss the Western food, the pasta, the burger, the ribs, the steak,the steam mussels, the calamari, the hotdog, even the curry-point......
Dear God, I am dying to find a good restaurant where could serve me a decent Western meal.

I re-arranged my home place since I moved my computer to the hotel room.

I decide to buy a 2nd hand Minox 35 PL camera and a LOMO LC-A camera. Well, maybe a Lomo first.

We work 6 days per week. Each day from 9:30am to whenever we finish the work, sometime 6pm, sometime 10pm, sometime till the next day. But so far I enjoy my work. And I am making new friends everyday. What's more important, I start having idea about what I am going to do after this work. And I am exciting about it.
