I went to my favorite spot to photography the sunset scene last week after my landing from Chengdu.

Clear day, the weather was so nice.

Despite the strong wind, I stayed and photographied for almost 4 hours.

Some images turned out better than I expected.

Frog: a tailless amphibian with a short squat body, moist smooth skin, and very long hind legs for leaping.

I ate it.
I ate it on October 20th when I was in Chengdu city.
Put him in the hotpot and damn it's delicious.

Whatever, I ate frog. @_@!!

Anyway, the photo journal from this trip is ready. check it out here.

22nd October 2006 Sunday                                                                   current music: David Tao "Lonely Season"
I came back from ChengDu, SiChuan Province. None of you could possibly underestand my feeling. But I found a perfect way to describe it. Look at the photo I took. Look at it carefully. I opened a door but what's behind was a wall! It's exactly what I felt.

But it's still like heaven, "surreal but nice!"

Photo journey will be up soon.

19th October 2006 Thursday                                                                   current music: W.A. Mozart's "Symphonie No.40 Molto Allegro"
J.S Bach's Goldberg Variations,BWV.988 has been my all time favorite piano piece. I wonder how it could be when Mischa Maisky, Maxim Rysanov and Julian Rachlin play the string trio for the same piece transcripted by Dmitri Sitkovetsky. Tonight at Beijing Music Hall, I would have a chance to experience it.

Tuesday night's concert was great. Members from Berliner Philharmoniker had done a wonderful job to play Mozart's Divertimento. I can still remember the Menuetto from No.17 in D Major, K.334. The interesting thing was at the end of the concert, they translated the last part of Mozart's piano sonata No.11 K331, which I've been listening again and again in the past week, into divertimento. Great job!

Lately I took sub more often than ever and I walked on the street as far as I could with the realization that when I drove, I missed too many details of the city.
Can't deny it, I love Beijing in the autumn. When I took sub, I read. I read Milan Kundera's book. I study it, carefully. I wanna learn Czech, to read his orginal piece without any translations, to fully underestand his words and logic pruely from my own point of view.

Tomorrow night I will fly to ChengDu, SiChuan to spend my weekend there.

18th October 2006 Wednesday                                                                             current music: Oasis "Cast No Shadow"

There will be more culture events in the 2nd half of year 2006 which will absolutely delight my life.

I made a screen-shot for my schedule in September. My weekday schedule has been broken down into single hour.

124 days down the way ......

7th October 2006 Saturday                                                                                        current music: Yo-YoMa plays Bach "Cello Suites no.1"
Yesterday was the Moon Festival. First time in the past 7 years I spend this holiday with my parents. It's so sweet to stay at home.

I went to Beijing Hotel's top floor tonight to photography the street lights. I can't deny that the view on the top floor was incredible. I spent hours there shooting and making some 360 degree panorama pics.

The ChangAn Street.

To all my friends who are currently traveling or living out of country, who is missing home every year at this time, wherever you go, the moon would always be the same one.
When you are homesick, don't forget to look at the moon. Since at this end, we all could see it.

I also managed to take some panorama pictures. They are far from perfect. But it's my true experience.

click here to enlarge the photo.

The city was darker than I expected. LIGHT!!! MORE LIGHTS!!!

5th October 2006 Thursday                                                       current music: Mitsuko Uchida plays Schubert's "Piano Sonata in E flat major, D568"
I started changing my pace. It's a good sign...... really! You have no idea about my feeling.....

I know it's been 4-month after the breaking up. But you could never know how much it gonna affect you and in which area.
My life has been emphasized on emotional field ever since this May. I have no idea why.
The passion to have a girlfriend or my own family overwhelmed my career goal. Is it because of the loneliness deep inside my heart?
Or am I really the kind of guy who couldn't live without love?
No matter what kind of answer it is, I threw myself into this long-lasting endless dreamy emotional battle with zero clue about the result.
I kept dreaming. Dreaming about the day to possess her, to be possessed.
I am 27 years old, this is the result of a broken relationship. Bad timing is all I could say.
It's sad. With all the sadness, I still have passion toward life. I still believe in love.
One day, I know, everything will be more than ok.
Maybe it's time to start loving myself more. Seriously, more love to myself!

For Pandora, like all women, was possessed of a lively curiosity. She had to know what was in the box.
One day she lifted the lid-and out flew plagues innumerable, sorrow and mischief for mankind. In terror Pandora
clapped the lid down, but too late. One good thing, however, was there-Hope. It was the only good
the casket had held among the many evils, and it remains to this day mankind's sole comfort
in misfortune ......

So ...... HOPE!

3rd October 2006 Tuesday                                                                                                               current music: Zhang ZhenYue "Freedom" (so-i-wo)
I love holiday!!

I went to Poly Theatre to watch Dmitri Shostakovich's opera "The Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District".
Usually I don't like opera in concert version but tonight I did enjoy the show. Maybe it's because I got the VIP ticket and my seat was really close to performers. Seeing their facial expressions could bring me another kind of excitment.

However, the story line was depressed. Next time, I should watch a love story or something cheerful.

2nd October 2006 Monday                                                                                                               current music: Final Fantasy "This Lamb Sells Condos"
How long it takes to edit some pictures? 3 months?

I was invited to the show by The Painted Birds in early May at Media Club and took some photos. God I totally forgot those images untill today.

Visiting their website, I found out they are using one of my photos. I still remember that photoshot with Michelle in April. Interesting......

Anyway, here are some pics I took during their live show at Media Club.
