I ordered a 4T RAID machine and now, it's time to re-organize all photos taken from year 2004 till the present date.

Trust me, it's a painful process. Memories all comes back.

16th December 2008 Tuesday current music: Alva Noto "Pulse"

I upload photos from ChongQing city. They are in the travel section now.

What I am going to do in the recent two months is turning this 250 sq. meters undergound pub
into my 1st photography studio in China.
I met up my designer Mr.Xu Tong, my stylelist Mr.Liu Wei, my tech guy Mr.Zhang Lei this afternoon at the studio,
discussing details of this baby.
I am also thinking to blog the process, keeping a record for every single stage of this renovation.
How exciting!!

12th December 2008 Friday current movie: 5cm

Bought the DVD at HonKong in early July, put it aside for almost 5-month,
I finaly watch the Japanese movie "5cm", a unbelievably beautiful and romantic cartoon.

The drawing, the piano background, the touching love story, everthing, is so peaceful and quiet.
I wonder, what kind of person the young director is.
And I wish, one day, my photos, could be as beautiful as his drawing,
as touching as every single image in this movie.

Hey, it's December 9th, not the end of 2008 but close enough to be a little nostalgic.
Am I too sensitive? Maybe!
In one more month, "april28th.com" will embrace his 5th-year birthday.
5 years, that's 1,825 days; that's 43,800 hours; that's 2,628,000 mins. Well, it's basically, a lot!
I spent hours today, running through my life in the past 5 years, from UBC to Ubyssey,
from YVR to Beijing, from Trista to her, from everything to nothing.
This 5 years, defined me.

Everyday, there are friends reading my blog, paying their attention to me for love.
Some days, there are perverse, peeking my life for other purpose.
It's ok, this is my life and I dare to share.

In the past few days, I picked up my life and enjoyed it. Finally, I felt like being myself again.
If I really can't make my wish come true, why bother? I can force no-one to love me.
After all, the heart asks pleasure first.

Today it's my Mom's birthday. There was a small family celebration party.
We had a lot of fun. Happy birthday mom. I love you.

I almost finish reading the biography book of Marc Chagall.
He said "In our life there is a single color, as on an artist's palette,
which provides the meaning of life and art. It is the color of love.

6th December 2008 Saturday current movie: "The Talented Mr. Ripley"

Cooking is always a good sign of life enjoyment.

It's a cold winter day, sunny.
My room is filled by jazz, laziness and the tantalizing aroma from a bottle of Chardonnay.
It's been two years that I didn't even bother to take a day off to relax and
enjoy what I've been missing for long time - life.
And it is the cooking which brought me back to the life in Vancouver, when I was an university student at UBC,
when I cooked everyday and worked full time as a photo editor in Ubyssey.
It was the conjunction of my favorable life.

Lately, I've been addicted to this drink. Weirdo ^.^!!
By the way, I love the movie, "the talented Mr.Ripley".
A true celebration of Italy, Rome, Vanice, Mongi ......
