| I am working my ass off now. Yesterday, yes Sunday, when I worked in my office, as I always do, I bought some CDs from iTune store. (yeah, what else I could do then) I actually like it there. Creadit card payment, fast downloading speed. And the casher was hot who also wrote me an email today tellling me her name, Bill. Ennnnn.... it's not funny at all.
So, I bought a two-CD set of Vivaldi's cello concerto. And another two-CD set of the opera "La Boheme" by Puccini. By the way, I now, start learning opera. ^.^ Not enough! Then, I bought two different versions of Mozart's Requiem. Which one is better? The one with prettier cover alwasy win. Ha, I am not gonna tell you which one is prettier to me. BUT why on earth should I listen the requiem? Anyway, there are all great! Plus they made me survived from a Sunday over time work. |

Too many things happened. Too many things to do. Too little time to handle all these. Aperture 2, Hasselblad H3DII. New photos, old archives, previous books, upcoming ones. Music, arts, fictions. Beijing, Vancouver, rest of the world. Chinese, English, Chinglish. Family, friends, lover. Animal, boys, girls. Dance, wines, sex. Where to start? Where is the end? |

I submitted 10 photos as a group with a short article to Beijing Morning Post today.
It's a story about a young couple. A young couple who work with lowest wage in the construction site in Beijing and who could not go back home for the Chinese new year because of the strong blizzard in their home town. It's a story about how they found happiness together in a foreing city during the new year holiday. |

First day of Chinese new year, I went to a photo session in the early morning and paid for a visit to the local book store. I spent over thousand bucks on books and the 900 pages "Balthus" was the most expensive one. However, I am thirsty to read this book. I, want to learn more serious arts as much as possible. |

current music: Rachel's "Last thing last" |
|
I've been listening to Rachel's again and again. Surprisingly this album is full of oriental elements. I just love it!
Few days agao, I went to Forbidden City for a short photo shot. Images were uploaded into "Travel" section already at index page. On the same day, Mrs Chen Miao, manager of Vizrt, brought me to her friend's HI-FI audio factory, the Opera Audio. It's a family business producing hand made high end audio system. I tried some of their products and was impressed but the quality of sound and the elegant feel of design. What's more, it's also my very first time listening Keith Jarrett's music on LP, not CD. Mr. Ma, the sale's manager from Opera made an interesting comparison about CD and LP. He said that if LP was a snake, CD was then more like chopping a snake into pieces and put them back together. I believe what he said. If everything go smoothly, I could afford to buy a whole set of LP audio system this year. God bless me! |
