Late night, friends coming, Andrea worked with Xiang Qian for a dance performance for a New Year eve show. It's a lovely atmosphere. Today is Wang ZhiSu's birthday. First thing first, happy birthday to you! Few weeks ago, Andrea and I went to her dance class, watching a 1.5 hour dance practice. Needless to say, I was inspired to the greatest extent. Thinking about art, how can one live without it. I appreciate dance and have this passion to photography it, the dance, the most beautiful human form. I booked a list of Profoto lighting equipments and it will be deliveried on Jan 10th. Basically I've been shooting one roll per day for a week already. It's my new year resolution. In the past week, I went to hospital on a day to day basis. Andrea was with me. Every since my first day in KCL store, I always wanted to have a 2nd hand Nikon FM2. Today I bought one with a 35mm F2.8 lens. In the past few weeks, I started shooting film for my personal life. I sold half of my Canon EOS, the 1d MarkIIn, the 1D MarkIII with several EF lenses. I also sold leica D-lux 3. After serious thinking, what I have now for the camera system are as the following: 1x Nikon FM2 with 35mm F2.8 lens. 1x Canon EOS 300D.(my very first dslr) 2x Canon EOS 5D MarkII with full range of accessaries. 1x Hasselblad H3DII-39 with full range of accessaries. Hasselblad 80mm F2.8 lens. Hasselblad 100mm F2.8 Macro lens. Canon EF 16-35mm F2.8 L. Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8 L. Canon EF 24-105mm IS F4 L. Canon EF 70-200mm IS F.28 L. Canon EF 70-300mm IS DO. Canon EF 50mm F1.2 L. Canon EF 85mm F1.2 L. Canon EF 100mm F2.8 macro. Canon EF 135mm F2 L. Canon EF 300mm F2.8 L. Probably a 35mm F1.4 L lens from Canon will be bought later one. I've been blogging since 2004 on april28th.com. It records my life. For 6 years, I didn't dare to change the layout at all. With Andrea's help, I redesigned my website in the past week and made it a future family blog. Beside our daily photos, there are two sections about books & music which we are attracted to. The new website still has links which go back to the older version of april28th.com. The version I use it as archive now. Futher design modification is certain. To me, the current graphic is a good start. Almost a month after wedding, life becomes simplier and simplier. I do appreciate it. It brings me the unsurpassed happiness. Day goes by.
