Last night was crazy. Work started from 3pm, finished at 2:30am. I used the new 5D with 85 F1.2 lens and tried the H3DII in the rental studio. Amazingly good. Got to know some new friend, Yu Peng was an artist, painting for more than 20 years. I do like some of his works. Expression is what we need to survive from the real world. But I chase beauty! I took my 1D MarkIIn to the trade-in shop. Decision made, I am going to sell this baby! He is like my big brother, watching me to be matrue on photography. This is the only camera which made me exciting about, not the Rebel, not the 10D, not the 1D MarkIII, not the 5D MarkII, not even the Hasselblad H3DII. 4 years, from Ubyssey to the Spring Evening Gala, from my 1st book to the 3rd, from Trista to her, there are just so many stories in it. And they are all personal! But I can't put it in the closet for display. Time to move on. Like what we've experienced in real life. There is nothing you could hold forever. I think the question which matters to me is, did I have passion with it? I am sad, extremely sad. Did I do the right thing? Am I too sentimental? uh....................... Fuck me! Blog on October 18th, 2005: Even though I paid by credit card and I could be really poor in the following months to pay off the debts, I am happy with my decision of buying a new camera, the Canon EOS 1D MarkII N. ...... Like my store manager said, now I don't have any excuse for taking a bad photo. If there is any problem on the photo, it must be me who doesn't know how to handle the camera/lens in the correct way. Production Night June 19th, 2009 | 17:00 I lead a team to video tape/photographying a Taichi master, Mr.Zhang JunFeng on the stage last night. The production was insane. We worked from 6pm till 2am this morning. It was crazy but I had so much fun! The time-laps clip was taken during the production by 5D MarkII. I love this camera. It's small, light-weight and could produce high quality images. Next week, I will post something we made yesterday. You will be amazed! It has been a while for me haven't seen her smile. It was taken through a hotel window in HongKong last year and it had my sweetest memeory! 5D MarkII June 17th, 2009 | 11:36 The new 5D MarkII is very easy to use, but I've been experienced a major problem. I can't open the RAW file from CS3. Even after updating adobe camera raw plug-in to version 4.6, the photoshop still doesn't recongnize it. Anyway, I will try some other ways. Morning time, I shoot a video clip by the new camera and the result is amazingly good. The loading file is 2.9mb. Just be patient! if you can't load it on web, download it here. new starts: I decided to sell 1D MarkIIn for a 5D MarkII. I used to be 85kg, and now I am 80kg. It was only 10 mins run. Now I could run for 40 mins. 2am sleeping time vs. 10pm sleeping time. 03:00, getting up! 04:45, shooting flag rising ceremony at Tian-an-men Square plus empty streets in the city. 06:00, b-fast at a random restaurant. 08:00, moutain climbing at XiangShan. 11:00, house cleaning and visitng muffin at parent's place. 13:00, emailing at office. 14:00, updating website. 15:00, start jackytaichi.com's graphic design at office. 18:00, GYM time. 20:00, website design re-cap. Last time I lost my wishband, Trista broke up with me. Two days ago, I lost another wishband. Well, bad things happened. I died physcially and mentally, then I survived and now, I am queueing for someone's mind. I still can't believe I did it but it's true. It's just too much pain and I can't hold it anymore!
