do you hear me
i'm talking to you
across the water across the deep blue ocean under the open sky
i hear you in my dreams
i feel your whisper across the sea
i keep you with me in my heart
you make it easier when life gets hard

i am lucky i am in love with my best friend
lucky to heave been where i have been
lucky me to in love with my best friend
lucky to be coming home again

they don't know how long it takes
waiting for a love like this
every time we say goodbye
i wish we had one more kiss
i'll wait for you
i promise you, i will

1D Mark II-n Vs. Mark IV
October 24th, 2009 | 17:42

My 1D Mark II-n was sold today.
Believe or not, I've been clicking this shutter for more than 60 thousand times in the last 4 years.
On the other side, Canon had announced their new flagship digital SLR, the 1D Mark IV, a 16-megapixel professional SLR body.
The 1D Mark IV will capture both HD and SD video, including 1920x1080 at 24p, 25p and 30p, 1280x720 at 50/60p.
en ..... Exciting, but I will wait for the 1DS Mark IV.
Well, it's just a tool. I think photography itself always weights more.

Vimeo No More
October 20th, 2009 | 10:30

Ok, here is what I really want to say at this point of time, screw the Great Firewall!
Chinese government once again, blocks my favorite website, vimeo.com on Oct 15th.
For year, vimeo inspired me, kept me dreaming, made me escape from the reality and told me how wonderful the art is.
And now, no more vimeo, no more blogspot, no more facebook, no more youtube.
Do we, as individuals, have the freedom to access the information we need?

Do we all have to watch youku's crap video or the shitty commercial on TuDou?
Do we after all have to use Kaixin instead of facbook?
So much talk about globalizaion, emerging world power, YET they won't even give access to foreign web sites?

Can we open up at least for art?
It's more or less like a culture revolution! We close our eyes, hero-lize ourselves without noticing how big the world is.
I wonder how all these Internet Web site bans and restrictions will affect China as a whole.
We are losing standards!

And yup, I am angry!

yo,

what are you reading maximo? i've been listening to a lot of bach.
do you know the pianist glen gould? you must. the partitas, the french and english suites are particularly good.
if you ever want to start dreaming again, if you need to, try finding a translation of Andre Gide's Les nourritures terrestres.
and then tell me what you think!
viva la brotherhood,

I almost forget when was the last time that I actually taking a day off, staying at home, doing nothing but relax.
Today was a saturday, I cooked a b-fast, made a fresh brew coffee, went to IKEA and got a kitchen stand.
I cleaned my house, watching a DVD with my newly purchased Sony Z46 LCD, and I painted, two images, not arty sort of thing but a true feeling.
It's so comfortable. I shall do this more often.

Black Tuesday
October 13rd, 2009 | 19:40

worker resting in the underground studio.

2nd day of the renovation project, I am already behind the schedule.
I've had a black Tuesday. Wokers didn't arrive on time first, then, a car accident, an uncleared relationship, a beauty which only-can-be-seen 2-hour/day,
a broken foot, a non-reply message, a dirty body in a fucking tired soul with an uncertain future lived inside a lovely lie.
I am a loser!!

But there she came, like an angel, high above, elegent in the way you can't refuse, beautiful.
And you fall in love. And you lose yourself. And you lose your love. And suddently you are dying.

Can we all make sure what we want first. Then we make the dream come true and we enjoy what should be enjoyed.
How wonderful it will be? How pure the happiness could become?

Life is too short.

Finally, there is the update.
Tomorrow, I am going to start renovating my new studio, 15 working days, 300 sq. meters, 2nd floor underground, 15 workers.
It will for sure a lovely place to hang out.
Well, there will be a big change in my life, but hey, no matter what's gonna happen, I love every single one of you, especially you!
Is it hard to get, the purity and happiness under complete honest?

Thank you Vimeo.com for saving my passion toward photography. I don't want to give it up and I will not!
I am a photographer, after all.
